Past kids tax receipts

If you have kids leave earlier in the yr and forget to give receipt when they leave. Come tax time. Do u track them down to say u have their receipt ready? Or wait till they come ask for it.

I contact them through email/text to confirm address and mail it to them.

Isn't it the law that everything needed for tax purposes needs to be sent out by the end of February? I just assumed it applied to us as we are a business.

I'm pretty sure we only have until the end of February.

I would do the same as Torontokids.

I just mail it out to the address I have on file, if it has changed, then I think it is up to them to contact me (I am still in the same spot, phone number, and email still the same)
