If U have an old playpen ur little ones outgrew or one with a big hole, don't throw them out.....make it into a play tent for reading or a toddler bed :) :)

This is all kinds of awesome babydom. My husband asked what is holding the roof in shape. Some kind of frame etc. I am stealing this idea from you, it's got me super excited!!!

It's just the playpen baby mobile. :). But u can just put a playpen sheet across the top and have it as a flat roof too. :)

Looks great! Ever since I seen this on Pinterest, I've wanted one but I don't have the room in the toy room :(
I've considered making it for outside in the summer!
Good job!!

I have one of these playpen scans I was thinking of found that but the mobile is not sturdy enough to hold the roof up ... The slightest bit of pressure and it pops down .... You would have to come up with a way to reinforce it

You can just use a playpen sheet and have it flat across as a flat roof. It still be cool :)
Thanks Babydom, I love it and the kids will too as their little hide-a-way reading area

That is fantastic! I'm a sucker for repurposing projects on pinterest! Now if I could just figure out a space for it to go...lol

Ahhh! I just threw out an old playpen last year, because the whole side was ripped up. If only I had known... :glare:
