Hi everyone! It's been quiet on this forum the last couple of wks. How is everyone enjoying their start to their summer??

I had my 8yr old daughter on her first day off (yesterday) say to me at 8am "I am bored Mommy. Sooooo bored!!" I was like oh boy, it's gonna be a long summer. Lol

I only have three daycare kids, two ones and a three yr old. I'm feeling discouraged about my two open spots. No one looks for two years and up they all want a baby spot which I can't fill one till feb then the other till July. Sigh!! It will be a quiet summer for sure!

I love the "I am bored comment" lol. Hopefully the summer goes smoothly for you and you fill those spaces!!

My 3yr old was talking to me yesterday and I noticed something big and red in her throat upon investigation I noted very red, very swollen tonsils. I have no idea what that means. We see the doctor this afternoon. Hopefully it isn't contagious, my DCB's are home until we confirm (their choice as we would provide care if they wanted).
