Waterdown family seeking Experienced Daytime
Child Caregiver

We are a professional and fun loving couple looking for a caring, responsible and experienced child caregiver to care for our daughter from April-September. Our daughter will be 10 months by then.

Ideally, you will be a child caregiver with at least three years’ experience in nannying or child care work. You must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and well presented. You will be required Tuesday through Friday from 7:30am – 5pm.

We are a non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker. We also have 2 medium sized dogs that will not need care, other than being let out for bathroom breaks, so a dog lover would be nice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Will include: Following daily schedule.
• Feeding baby pre-made meals and snacks throughout the day
• Putting baby down for naps
• Changing diapers and clothing as needed
• Playing, interacting and taking baby for walks in the stroller (weather permitting)
• Reading to baby
• Tidying up after play

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

Passion for working and educating children in a fun and effective manner.
Excellent communication skills.
Open-minded, teachable, dedicated to excellence, driven, creative and organized
Knowledge of child development and an up to date first aid certificate.
All health immunizations up to date.
Valid Criminal Reference Check.
ECE or working towards ECE or ECA Diploma
Post-Secondary Degree
Experience in a Licensed Daycare and/or extensive experiences as a Nanny or equivalent.

We would like to thank all applicants for their interest in this role; however, only the selected candidates will be contacted.

Please be prepared to present a current First Aid certificate, Police check certificate and valid driver’s licence if selected. A Certificate in Child Care will also be highly regarded.

You will be well treated and will receive reasonable pay, with meals, have full use of the house, and be treated as one of the family.

Please email a current resume with details of your previous nanny / child caregiving experience, with references to Sarah at happymum08@outlook.c om
