  1. Hi Michelle
Sorry I didn't see your message until today. Weird.

I got a quad runabout through Berg directly and it ran me about $1399 USD including shipping, taxes etc

I then got invoiced about $136 for customs from Fedex.

So far I am really happy with it and dealing with Roger was pretty easy. He responds pretty fast whenever you have a question.

The second hand ones do resell for about 85% of their value. That is why I debated buying used vs new but then decided that the extra 15% would be fine for me to invest to get a new one.

I guess if you buy the used one you can save yourself duties and some $$ though.

I like the runabout best for snowy or rainy days. I think it turns a little harder on dry ground because it does not have a swivel wheel at the front. You kind of have to push on the back handle to turn it which way you want to go.

Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.
    Christiane

    Hi there,

I hope you are OK. and don't mind me messaging you.

I was looking to buy a runabout(triple or quad) and I was wondering how much you paid for yours? I have been quoted around $1100(for triple) and I'm trying to find out what everybody else had paid. It is very! expensive for a stroller but I've read quite a lot of good stuff about it. I just want to make sure that I'm not paying too much. Also I found a second hand quad for $800 its 2 years old. Do you think it is going price for second hands ones?

Thank you and have a lovely day.
    Michelle

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
