Should I be doing morning change, pj's brush hair etc?

Ok I also have a young one coming, 3 yrs old and she comes 30% of the time with unbrushed hair, pjs on and ready to brush her teeth? Is this normal? I'm a newbie (from the amount of questions I have it's obvious!)

I require ALL dcks to arrive fed, dressed, and ready for the day!!!

Btw, I think it's great that you found this forum and are asking questions early on. I learned everything the hard way over 4 years of doing this and could have saved myself a LOT of grief and hassle!!

All dcks must come dressed, fed and groomed for the day. It is not your job to do this.

I would be ok if it was once in a blue moon, but she is 3.5...She should be able to help mom out and get dressed right?

LOL... I'm always amazed at what some parents expect us to do. No, it is not normal to bring your child to daycare completely out of bed. Unless of course it's super early and already agree'd upon.

What's going to happen when the child goes of to JK?

Isn't it just common sense to dress your child before you leave the house?

That's not ok. Children must be clean, dressed, hair brushed and ready for their daycare day just the same as they would be expected to be ready for a school day when they arrive. Whether or not you provide breakfast is your decision. I feed the children at 8:30 because we go outside at 9am. But I would rather feed the children a healthy breakfast than have them arrive holding a timbit or poptart.

my contract states the children must be fed dressed with clean hands, face, and teeth, and be ready to start the day.
