I do birthday cookies. I make large sugar cookies and they get to decorate them as part of our "party" which is the Friday of the week the child has their birthday. I do not do it on the actual day nor do I do candles etc. because I do not want to detract from the parents right to see their child's reaction to cake an candles. If a parent wants to send cupcakes I let them an we serve them for lunch but still do our cookies.
