Hi, you're right it will be hard. Fortunately I decided to open way before. Because as they are speaking September can bring a second wave, maybe you should not worry because if the numbers of infections go way too high, then I'm sure they will close all again😔I plan to open in September. I'm also concerned about symptoms. Little ones are always coughing and have runny noses. Is it fair to call parents if there's no fever but runny nose? It's so difficult to judge since lil ones tend to get colds in the fall and winter. I won't be doing temp checks unless the child is behaving differently, however going to disinfect surfaces, toys and floors regularly. Germs are a part of life and we cannot be totally germ free, but we can all do our part to keep this virus under control. Good luck out there fellow child care workers!
At this point we are open and working day by day. I had cancelled long term plans or children starting months after. I'm working with families that need childcare now.
Fall will be hard but, currently any little health issue is been addressed. So no tolerance sniffles, coughs etc. The child will have to be kept st home.
