Milk

Hi there,

What do you do with children who are still being fed formula and breast milk? Obviously the parent would supply the breast milk, but what if it's formula. Do they supply the formula? Do you request the leave a can at your home or do they just bring it every morning?

Absolutley they should provide formula and homo milk if needed. Let them know you provide 2% milk with meals, snks whatever your preferance. I think the paretns should be making the bottles in the morning and sending them so all you would need to do is warm it. It is too musch to ask for us to make sure everything is perfectly sterilized.

I agree, I serve 2% milk to the children. When babies start here the parents have to provide anything the baby may need that is not table food or the juice or milk that I serve. I also have a child with a lactose allergy in my daycare so the parents provide his milk, cheese and other products to be kept in my fridge and I just let them know when I'm running short. If I have a parent who wants their child to have homo milk, same rule applies.
