    Thing that are making a tough day better . . .. .

So I'm sick as a dog as many may have guessed from my post about my house of virus'. So I'm feverish, feel like crap, coughing until I dry heave, and hubby is cranky because the poor thing had to get up with our sick daughter last night BUT:

    Today is ok because . . . .

My 3 year old brought a book to me and sounded out her first sentence

My 18 month old put a few clear and intelligible sentences together

    LOVE THIS JOB

Oh that is so awesome ... but healing vibes to you and yours that you are feeling better for tomorrow to enjoy those moments with more vigor
Children construct their own intelligence. The adult must provide activities and context, but most of all must be able to listen. Children need proof that adults believe in them. Their three great desires are to be listened to, to understand, and to demonstrate that they are exactly what we expect."

Yes, the privilege is all ours when we are the ones who get to experience these things from our own children, rather than their daycare staff. I love that you are struggling, but still looking at the positive. Feel better!

LOL Thanks. Days like this you have to find the good so you don't stop caring and just curl up on the couch.

BUT its the couch for me tomorrow as there will be NO children at my house again due to a plethora of diseases.

A few tips...

If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
