We've decorated Bunnie masks at the library on Monday at home we've String painted on Easter Egg shape, done Shaving cream and paint sensory and than done an 'egg print' on it when done mixing and today we are dying real hard boiled eggs for lunch tomorrow and than tomorrow we will make bunny ear headbands for our party, decorate our Easter basket for our hunt after nap time, bake our Easter carrot muffins and decorate with icing for afternoon snack.

Tomorrow while they nap I will hide some color coded plastic eggs in the yard for hunting when they wake up - one color each to hunt for - the plastic eggs filled them with stickers, tattoos, a rubber ball, dinky car, a telescope and mini bubbles - all tiny things that fit inside the eggs and than they get one chocolate sucker which they can put in the baskets to take home.
Children construct their own intelligence. The adult must provide activities and context, but most of all must be able to listen. Children need proof that adults believe in them. Their three great desires are to be listened to, to understand, and to demonstrate that they are exactly what we expect."

Love the idea of one color each to search for...educational and fun...I was torn as to what to put in each that was age appropriate for my whole age range (1 to 4)...
    I can separate by color!
    Children are great imitators.
So give them something great to imitate.
