My longest two for settling were 4 months and 7 months and yes, they are long, long months! It is stressful and exhausting and I feel your pain! I just transitioned two new babies and now they are about 16 & 17 months old and have settled in finally. It's awesome when they finally settle in. I wish you best of luck and calming thoughts and relaxing, restful, healing evenings so you can keep your sanity. BREATHE!!!!!!!

I also hope that it ends sooner, rather than later, for your sake.
But it does sound like she will eventually get there. It's unfortunate that she had those 5 days away and you are starting over. But I think with time she will settle completely. Just keep everything as consistent as possible, so that she knows just what to expect at your house. I find that to be the easiest.
    Good luck!!!

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
