I don't know about Wee Watch, but I used to have my son in a Global home daycare and with them, it depends on the caregiver. Some have back-up caregivers (sometimes a family member) and some do not. So, they are much the same as us in that if they are sick or have an appointment, they may need to close sometimes (but they don't get paid for that or their own vacations). I am with Reggio...I take 10 paid vacation days, Stats paid and 5 paid personal days (but I only use those if I have to). I do still feel bad if I have to close due to illness etc, but I am human!
