None of my dck's are verbal yet, so they don't call me anything. I refer to myself by my name to them. Only my daughter is verbal, so I get mommy from her.

Hi! My kids call me by my first name! I used to teach at a Montessori preschool and they use 'miss' in front of your first name!

I am called by my first name, or by mom, mama or mommy, as most of my dck's are pretty little.

I agree. I think it teaches manners and respect to use Miss, or Mrs. But I want the kids to feel comfortable and "at home". I was thinking Miss. "First Name" as last names are sometimes hard to pronounce, for kids. BUT, in my case, my last name is easier to pronounce than my first name, lol.
