Wow!

So, I let a family go at the beginning of June which I posted about on here earlier...

and now...

the mom is just having constant issues telling me that her child is too scared to come to daycare because everyone is hitting her child....

ummm, ok... this has been an ongoing issue from her from day one and i constantly am reminding her that yes, sometimes other children do hit (this is developmentally normal) and when it happens we talk about it and move on...

Now this morning she wanted to talk to me about this and I accidentally started to smile/laugh to myself when I told her that hitting does not happen here, and when it does we deal with it.

Then she accused me of her thinking that she actually thinks that I let children run around and hit each other. I told her honestly, yes.

I feel like I have gotten to a point with this family where I don't really care what they think/do anymore because it is getting ridiculous! I gave them a termination and now they won't stop bringing up every single little issue.... I do not get it?!

If you gave them a term notice honestly who cares? And if you havent term'ed them I would ...this is just silly.

lol, thank you! I just needed to vent.... it is silly and I don't care, but it is ridiculous and it is driving me crazy!!

It is silly of them. Sounds like they are the type of people who just love drama. How much longer do you have the child for? Here's to a speedy count down!
