Nope not worthy IMO ~ I only email out reminders like 'just in case I forget at pick up I am closed on Friday or I need more post dated cheques, diapers, etc ..... anything of consequence where the parent is going to have 'questions' I prefer to discuss in person either on the phone or I arrange for my spouse to watch the group and do it at pick up so I can do it in private away from the children.

Whether I call on phone or wait to pick up also depends on the family ... when a child has their first 'boo boo' in daycare or they are not 100% well but not something I would 'normally' call I tend to phone them right away to give a heads up so they can assimilate it and do not walk in the door and see a bruise on their kid and think OMG why did not call me type thing or 'omg he was lethargic why didnt you call me so I could pick him up' ... and than depending on if they are am OMG family about it or a 'no big deal' future ones I will wait until pick up or I will keep calling with the heads up.
