Definitely showing appreciation is key! Whenever I have had a parent express appreciation for me or something I have done, it makes me feel like it was worth it and that all the hard work I do does not go unnoticed. A little thank you goes a long way! Yes, they are paying for the service, but that does not mean they should nor recognize our hard work and effort. I really think that recognition is key
