I would definitely give him a morning nap. I have three 17-18 month olds who still need a morning nap to make it through until 1pm when we have afternoon nap...if I don't give them 45 minutes in the mornign they are tired and grumpy and fall asleep in their lunches or on the wya home from the park in the stroller etc. An overtired baby is not a good thing!
