Ideas for Activities! Help!

Need more activity ideas on what to do with the kids aged from 3 to 8 during the day!! What do you do on a typical day. What are some program ideas that I can offer my daycare!!

Can you go outside and on field trips? If I had an older group like yours I would be getting outside of the house, but I do that no matter what the age group here. We go outside almost all morning 3 days/week at least. One day a week is my teaching of my theme and our craft that pertains to the theme. The 5th day every week depends on the weather, inside with a fort, letting the children play with all of the toys and having an imagination day. I moniter their play and offer ideas for restaurants or paramedics or whatever the direction their minds are working to keep them going with their role playing. But if they want to lay on the floor and play with cars that's great too. It's ok to let children learn by playing. You don't have to be an entertainment system!
