OMG Reggio that sounds really bad ! So sorry for you. I just finished my kitchen ... I have a very very old farm house. Way over 100 years old but what can I say I fell in love with it. CRAZY I know but it's what I like and the amazing back yard we have and total privacy was worth more than the price I paid ... to me ofcourse. Needless to say ... we had a lot of renos to do and we are NOT the very reno savy type. But I certainly understand you right now. Back then, they did not have regulations. While doing our kitchen we noticed that we had 0 insultation and I mean 0. Only old barn wood then old plaster or more barn wood and at some places very old news papers... yup news papers to insulate. When we did the flooring I mean we had to basically redo the beams in the basment. I mean they were actual three trunks ;0) Some I've kept because it's part of the history of the house but some had to be completely replaced. Took out all our budget and them some. We still have lots to do but I still love my house. Gonna take more than that to get me out of here but I DO FEEL FOR YOU !!

Sorry, I also meant to say good luck with the remainder of your reno. It is a shock to find this structural nightmare, but at least you found out this way and not with the ceiling coming down on you and your kids. Some one was watching over you for sure.

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.

We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
