LOL I didn't even think of the "babysitting" comment. What websites do you use? I never heard back from the lady with the shared custody. I am just starting out and dont have a lot of toys for different ages I am slowly building as I go. I am worried when I take pictures parent are going to think where are all the toys in the pictures.

What websites? Do you mean for your own website? I use freewebs.com. I wouldn't worry about having a ton of toys, I always post pictures of the children having fun, dancing, crafting, colouring, gluing, water play, games, whatever you do with the daycare children snap lots of pics and that will get you started.

Some people just don't get it! That's why we are so undervalued by society in general...we are just "babysitters"...taki ng care of the kids so the other adults can do the "important" work. Well, WE know our value and that is going to have to be enough for now. I also get the assumption that I work for cash under the table...ummmm, no...I am a legitimate business owner and I do NOTHING under the table!

I saw the babysitting comment and the first thing that came to mind is how I tell people that I don't sit on the babies

I'm from north Oshawa and I charge 34.00 per day for kids under 3 over rate is 30.00?. Sibling rate it all varies on the kids age and how many kids.
