Birthday craft ideas?

I just happened to pop on facebook this morning before daycare kids came and I see it is dcg's Mom's birthday today. Any idea's on a simple craft she could make her Mom? She just turned 3 so nothing too complicated.

I only did this once for a really great client but otherwise I don't know the parents birthdays. But I just had the child make a card with painted handprints after colouring the card base and stamping it and adding stickers. Then when it dried we glued on a happy birthday phrase.
