Hmmm...I think it depends on the child. I have a 1 1/2 year old DCG that just recently gave up her AM nap...she just loves her sleep. Something that works for me is to have the babies nap from 9am to 10:00am (I wake them) then, they are ready to go down with the rest just after lunch & have a nice long afternoon nap (which equals break time for you). I used to let them sleep in the AM...but that equalled a very short (1 hour max) afternoon nap. You'll find what works for you.
