If it is in fact chicken pox I would not give the parents the option of bringing thier children. I would close. My rule is that if it's something that would be considered too contagious for a child to come to care, than I will close if my child has it. Chicken pox is specifically mentioned in my policies as an illness that requires children to remain at home.
