My son used to get awful diaper rashes, pretty much like what you are describing. His skin was so sensitive! I'd agree that trying the clotrimazole is a good idea as it might be a yeast infection. Also- air out that bum!!! The only thing that ever seemed to help was lots of air time before cream!
