dont forget apples...it was his last day thats the only reason she brought the ice cream..it was "something special", I had more of an issue with the whole "oh, is it ok for me to bring "outside" food into your house?" she was just being a you know what!!!
dealing with them wasnt ALWAYS hard, they were good friends, but just like your "friends", sometimes you want to choke them and dont always see eye to eye. Did drive me nuts, but def dont regret keeping the child as I did, sometimes the way I look at things is "the child benefited from being with me" due to the fact that the parents didn't discipline or push "manners" and such....I guess (like all the kids I provide care for) I hope he goes off to pre-school with the skills I helped instill in him and becomes a better person because of it. Thats why I do this job, the paycheck really is a perk for something I do feel "pressed" to do by God. Although we all COMPLAIN here to each other...I guess we wouldn't do it if we didn't really love it and weren't good at it! right?
