One of my d/c kids parents were sick on the weekend with a throw up bug. On Monday they told me about their hellish weekend and then looked me dead in the eye and asked if I or any of the kids had had it. The nerve of the attitude! I answered truthfully no and then asked if they had been to the grocery store, mall, kids indoor play parks or pool recently in a very sweet, concerned voice. The look on their faces (yes, they do drop off together!) was priceless and it answered my question. I then let them know that dispite all the foot traffic in my home, it is cleaner than those places I mentioned because I am constantly wiping down surfaces and little hands. They then triend to figure out where else they could have caught it. I told them, unless it is a pox or eboli, I don't stress so much about where it came from, I just deal and continue.
