I'm pregnant now! My husband covers for all my doctors appointments except for ones he wants to come to (ultrasounds) and then I give them plenty of notice and close for the day. I am working up until 1 week before my due date and taking 10 weeks off total.
When I first found out I was pregnant, I waited until 12 weeks to tell them. I have WONDERFUL families and all have been up front with me that they do not intend to find alternative care when I take my 10 week leave. I'm still prepared to lose a client or 2, such is life but I don't think I will. All have already made arrangements with grandparents for that time...so we'll see what happens! Another plus is that hubby will take 4 months off with me so will be a huge help to me, especially when the kids start back.
