I swear by a product that PetSmart carries - it's called Nature's Miracle. It does a fantastic job of deodarizing all the "icky" smell that can often remain after you clean up the mess. =) Would it be worthwhile trying to keep this little one on a quilt or some other blanket when she's on the floor ? Obviously, as she gets older and more mobile this will not work so well (hopefully by then though, she'll have outgrown the vomitting) but it might save your carpets in the interim - much easier to wash quilts than carpets. =) Keep an eye on the frequency of the vomitting as it may be something that Mum should discuss with the child's pediatrician. She (the child) may need an anti-reflux medication - my own daughter was on one for her first year, and it made a huge difference in her ability to keep formula down. =)
