Some people are text/email crazy.....plus they are thinking of their kids, all day long while at work...so if you put the two together...you will get many messages. just do as everyone else suggested and only respond about once a day. they should get the message!! when you respond don't forget to add a little comment like. "sorry, I didn't get your message until now, very busy with the kids" that way , perhaps they will think a little before "bugging" as much as they do. Don't forget though, their kids are more than likely on their minds all day long, in todays forms of communication everything is instant, therefore, you think, you text, you get a response "quickly", I'm sure they would understand if you made a comment at pickup like "so sorry I don't always respond to your texts and emails but my days are so busy with all the kids, most often I may not be able to get back to you until near the end of the day, but I will ALWAYS let you know if anything happens."
