    DCK Milestones

When a kid reaches a new milestone- rolling or walking etc... what do you do? Do you tell the parents or do you let the parent expereince the 'first'

Parents have seemed to experience it first. One parent has said that she would like to video tape her son walking, so I offered to do so, and emailed it to her. I'm sure they'll capture better videos, but they have appreciated that for me!

I let the parent experience it but sort of lie in the sense of it is happens I will say something like they came so close today you better watch them like a hawk the next couple days - and sure enough it almost always happens that night and parent comes in so excited the next day. Some will even email me. I do this for first like first steps (since we get them at 12 months so they have done the roll and sit things already).
