Use Halloween to advertise your childcare

Here is an idea to help fill the spaces in your childcare. Make yourself business cards with your area (not address) and cell phone number. Tape them to the treats you are handing out on Halloween. I give out Wagon Wheel cookies and I can easily tape a card to each cookie. The younger children that come to your door usually live in your area and will get a treat with your card attached. The older children get just a Wagon Wheel.

I hope this helps you get your business advertised. (and it is cheap)

    Happy Halloween

Fantastic idea! Kudos to you for finding a unique and fun way to build your business!
    Children are great imitators.
So give them something great to imitate.

I have done this since I opened even my years after when I was full just to keep get my business name out into the community ~ I usually do up little 'cellophane treat bags' and put the business card inside so it does not get lost in the tossing of candy

Also when I actually have SPACE I am trying to fill around Halloween I create a Halloween themed BANNER for the front door on the computer that says 'Hey Mom or Dad ~ need quality childcare just let me know I may have a treat for you too' ... got two leads one year that way
Children construct their own intelligence. The adult must provide activities and context, but most of all must be able to listen. Children need proof that adults believe in them. Their three great desires are to be listened to, to understand, and to demonstrate that they are exactly what we expect."
