Welcome to the forum and best wishes for success for your daycare but remember that the first year is spent getting established in your area. A website is a great tool for advertising and add lots of pictures of your crafting and learning and playing times.

Mimi is completely right, this family is abusing you and taking advantage of you in way too many ways. You need a good contract and I think I can speak for most of us when I say that we usually have 9 hour days as a maximum with early and late fees. My hours are from 7:30am-5pm but most of my families come between 8am-4:45 from the first to the last so I'm not working too many hours, but after work is all the prepping for the next day and the cleanup from this day.

I charge a rate for the 9 hour day plus $5/half hour if they exceed that and $5/half hour if they arrive even a minute before 7:30 or a minute after 5pm. You MUST be strict with your contract and you have a right to be happy and contented in your business. Remember that it is YOUR business and you contract with the clients but they are NOT your bosses, they are your clients.
