The pox vaccine is not mandatory, but any child not receiving it has to provide a letter to the school, at least that is my understanding. My girl had it in September and if I had known how ill it was going to make her, I would have opted out until she was older. She was really sick with high fever, cough, runs and upset tummy for about 6 days.
This child who caught the pox had the vaccine as well.. No other child in my care has come down with it, and its not in the class at school either. So she obviously contracted it elsewhere.

I have two interviews this week so I can get these children mom is getting notice!
