Time to type up a letter to all parents as a reminder that hats, gloves, and all other proper outside wear must arrive every morning. I actually have a drawstring bag here all year round containing extra hat/mittens in the winter and sunglasses/sunhat in the summer and the splashpants stay here on their hook all year round. I'm also happy to have snowpants left here through the week all winter and taken home on weekends because we go outside daily and I word it this way: It is unfair to all of us if we cannot go outside because one child is unprepared.

no socks? How does that happen? And did they not realize how cold out it is to send hats/mitts? Weird.

I have an emergency soother hiding away in a drawer here...I've only had to use it once or twice, but of course I told them how brutal it was with no soother for their little one! Too easy to keep forgetting otherwise!
