I would start with discussing if they have considered removing 'dairy' than cause this is typically ALL signs of a dairy allergy ... the additional mucus produced by the allergen creates additional fluid in the ears, the skin is reacting to the allergen and the POOP is cause dairy allergies tend to just create more 'mucus' everywhere in the body including the digestive track making everything loose and slimy!
I would also venture to guess is language is likely 'delayed' in some manners compared to others as well
Children construct their own intelligence. The adult must provide activities and context, but most of all must be able to listen. Children need proof that adults believe in them. Their three great desires are to be listened to, to understand, and to demonstrate that they are exactly what we expect."

Crafty, I'm not sure from personal experience, but I've had a friend tell me her children were always constipated. She, (with help from their doctor) removed wheat from their diet and placed them on a gluten free diet. She claims that it was a night and day difference.

Thanks JennJubie, I was thinking the same kinda thing. However, not sure the parents are too... concerned about it. Not that they do not care for the child but they do not seem to see a problem with any of it.

Yes sadly wish that I could just get paid like a Dr for that since I seem able to diagnose most of my daycare children challenges quicker and more accurately then their Family Dr is .... after 20 years of seeing children with certain symptoms inevitably get diagnosed down the road with something I told the parent prior was likely that cause you just start to 'know' what some children are battling and that if we could just tweak this or that they might be that night or day .... cause MOST challenges in childhood are related to DIET or ENVIRONMENT at the root cause
