    Yay!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this is one of many posts of such nature, but I just have to tell you! I just recently made a web site for my Day Care. NEVER would have if I never met all you ladies. I am not much of a computer person. SOOOOO glad I did though. And I do owe all the thanks to you, computer savvy chicks. anyway..... I finished my web site and did a little more nosing around on the web to make sure it would be seen/found easily. Yay! like 3 days later, I get an email from someone in my "small-town" area, looking for care. So far all we have done is exchanged a few e-mails but, I have a really good feeling and her baby will fit in my schedule really well. I can't tell you all how happy I am to finally have a bite. And I just started an add in the local newspaper (which is what I do, only in desperation) ha ha !!!! I am desperate. Just wanted to give all you "computer chicks" a GREAT BIG cyber hug and thanks for letting me know these options were even out there. thanks so much.

Fantastic! So happy for you! I get inquries all the time from my website. I sometimes forget it's even there until I get an email from someone who's found me. I've been happily filled for months and months now so I haven't had advertising up in ages! It always surprises me when people find me through my website.

Good for you!!! I hope this "bite" turns into a client for you kidlove. I hear you about ads in the newspaper. Did it once a long time ago and the only one who answered was this wacko. Fifty bucks down the drain.

Oh that is awesome news ... a website this day in age is almost a must for anyone who is wanting / needing a full client base because while word of mouth is the BEST form of advertizing it is not always enough to keep yourself FULL cause there are times when you have clients who while signing your praises have no friends/peers with children!

I have a website and a FB group page to promote my business both of which have garnered me many inquiries when I am not even actively 'advertizing' in any other manner they just found me through google search.
Children construct their own intelligence. The adult must provide activities and context, but most of all must be able to listen. Children need proof that adults believe in them. Their three great desires are to be listened to, to understand, and to demonstrate that they are exactly what we expect."

Hey, I'm a computer dinosaur and still can't believe I made a website! I'm useless on the computer. Congratulations, it's going to be the best selling tool you could ever have. That's what I discovered and I'm so glad I learned to put pictures on there especially.

Now kidlove don't forget to put the link in all your advertisements. It takes the parents right there to see all the answers and the contact form. You're going to be so happy you took the time to do this. Also, every year I go back and add and update and make it better and better.

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
