    Going to keep it simple (& cheap) this year...a mason jar full of gingerbread playdough with Christmas themed cookie cutters attached (a Pinterest idea) and a clear Christmas ball (ornament for the tree) with a piece of their artwork in it and their name/year stenciled on the outside.
    Children are great imitators.
    So give them something great to imitate.
