Hav you tried pulling out an acitivity just before he arrives? Like something new or something that he loves...playdough or something like that that doesn't need too much supervision as I know drop-off period is hectic. I have a 2 year old who freaks out when his mom leaves, but I have started pulling things out like playdough or lacing buttons and he is so distracted that he forgets to cry

I just want to push him I'm already dredding hearing it. I've tried ignoring him, quick drop offs & even the "do you want a time out all day?" nothing works.
