I have to love this Dad. He clearly adores his little 14 month old girl. Carries her everywhere (hence she's not even close to walking), still purees her food and feeds her because he's "afraid she will choke". But, he adores this child, his first. He cares for her solely most of the time due to Mom living and working far away on a 8 day work, 6 days off rotation. Anyway, he came at 7am (1 1/2 hour earlier than norm. drop off time, as he doesn't pick up until 6pm) and he was looking positively green. He's holding her away from him, arms outstretched (she's still in her PJs)
and says.."I brought her as soon as she woke up, I haven't given her any food or anything yet. I'm sick and didn't want to interact with her at all".
What?!?! Sheesh; it's bad enough that most nights I end up feeding her supper with us, as he gets here so late, now I'm feeding her breakfast too?! 2 more months and this family is so done (temp. Contract with them for when I have a new family starting). Good luck tonight Dad because you'll certainly be interacting with her again!!
