I let one of my 15 mo's cry for half an hour. I never do this. I am bitchy from pms, have wicked anxiety about the Bieber concert tomorrow, and I just want to go to bed and watch movies.

It's a PA day here. I have six kids downstairs, and I have no craft planned for them yet. I need a hug.

We didn't go outside yesterday or today. One of my almost two year olds hates her mittens and refuses to wear a hat so she spends the entire time outside having a fit, not worth my time and energy. She is not here today but it was too damn cold with the wind chill. I did some Christmas crafts yesterday but did nothing today! Happy Friday! Lots to do this weekend but at least I can do it in peace!

Have a house full of grumps here today so hiding out on the computer and giving babies longer naps mostly. I am getting stared at a lot by the 3 year old. If I ask her to do something she just stands and stares at me expressionless as if she has no idea how to process what I just asked - can you say overtired brain. Needless to say cleanup for lunch was a long drawn out disaster after even having moved it all up to account for the tiredness. Hoping this isn't the start of what it will be like as the Christmas season gets into full swing and kids are out and about in the evenings and overrun with activities on the weekends. Could be a poor crafting year for sure.

Only have one DCK today plus my own two ...so what did we do ? Absolutely nothing.., just playing together, coloring and after lunch I treated them with a cartoon and hot chocolat. I got to fold my laundry wash my bathrooms and living room. So less to do over the weekend. Cheers to a nice Friday and a GREAT weekend !!

The stomach flu has hit the daycare and I have 1 on vacation ... so I only had 1 boy today and we packed up and went to playgroup and than he helped me plan next weeks menu by himself since his friends are not here he got to pick their favorite lunches for them and we made a list and got the shopping done as a treat ~ he loved picking out all the fruits ... shopping can be such an awesome educational experience sure it took us an hour and a half with him picking all the stuff and checking it was 'good' but now I do not have to do it on the weekend so HAPPY FRIDAY INDEED ... he is still napping so shortly I will have to wake him up cause we made some gluten free chocolate chip cookies before nap and they are nice and cool now and if I do not get him up soon i will eat them all
Children construct their own intelligence. The adult must provide activities and context, but most of all must be able to listen. Children need proof that adults believe in them. Their three great desires are to be listened to, to understand, and to demonstrate that they are exactly what we expect."
