I did the same as Reggio. Only ended up with one so we went to the fruit and veggie market. They have a 1/2 price sale on EVERYTHING for 3 days and given my busy weekend I had no idea when I'd get there. My other confession is that after that, I let him play all day, since he's my favourite (ooooh, the "f" word) and is so content doing his own thing using his imagination. I feel like I had the day off!

No outside time today and did an easier lunch than listed on menu. Eggplant looked bad enough that I didn't even want to eat it. Banana bread, fruit and yogourt much tastier than the purplish-grey mush we were going to have. We did extra crafts though, so I'm not a total sloth this time

    That's it for confessions....

I had all 5 of my children here today and we sang about a million Christmas songs and danced but watched out the window while the snow fell in the -7 C degree weather with a high wind and stayed inside toasty and warm. Then I was really tired and didn't have the energy for a craft so I just let them colour while I made lunch.

Thank goodness my new baby slept a full 2 hours so I could have my quiet break today because he hasn't slept over an hour all week. There is so much stress in my life this past month that I'm very, very glad to say goodbye to November!

    Children are great imitators.
So give them something great to imitate.
