    One of those days....

It's just been one of those days, so far. It's been so chaotic that I can ALMOST see the humour in it. Maybe by this evening when I have my glass of wine I'll be able to laugh about it.

My 2 kids are home sick, on top of a full daycare...but not the kind of sick where they seem sick....the kind where they probably should be at school and I have to keep saying "remember, you're not feeling well" "calm down" "you're supposed to be resting" I probably should have sent them, but there's a tonne of stomach flu at their school, so even if they're borderline or just little colds, I didn't want to send them already weakened, just to pick up something worse!

AND I was supposed to be selling an old toy of my daughter's which she NEVER plays with, has no interest in for a long time and had she been at school, never would have noticed that it was gone. BUT, she's home "sick" realized how fun it really is (for about a day, I'm sure) and after much deliberation, I had to call the buyer and say not to come.......so now I'm stuck with it in daycare territory , since there's not space in her room....

AND while all that was going on with my daughter, my dog who has a nasty habit...let's say she likes to clean up after herself outside .... We've been cracking down on her and for a week, I've worked my butt off, for her to break the habit, and it was working, we'd made MAJOR progress....until I let her out, was distracted with the sell/keep dilemma, calling the buyer, had no idea I'd let her out until dcb said she wanted to come in. WELL,. she took advantage of the freedom and well, cleaned up after herself. So, now all she'd learned all week seems to be erased. She now believes that she CAN "clean up" We start back at spare one.

TGIF indeed .... my yesterday was a series of events that you can only laugh at so you do not cry and I am so enjoying the QUIET that today is bring as a balance ... got to go to my old daycare girls Christmas Concert and video tape it for her mama who could not attend cause she could not take more time off work and dad got called out of town and well sometimes it feels nice to be able to do something 'extra' like that for clients!

Oh no not the dreaded impulse grab ... good for you for taking him back!

Yesterday is a day i hope I never repeat ~ I had one who decided to projectile puke all over my van on the way home from playgroup and than a different one projectile puke all over my stepson bedroom, hallway and bathroom before he finally got to the toilet to finish ... and not sure if I have mentioned it or not but I HATE puke and unfortunately rolling up my van or stepsons bedroom and tossing it in the garbage was not an option AND my spouse left Wednesday for a trip so was not here to help me with the van mess!

oh yes! We've tried EVERYTHING! So, desperate times called for desperate measures. She now has a remote "training" collar. I hate the thought of it, but there's no way she's going to be a poop-eater for life.
