    Lawn Sign Advertising Anyone?

So Kijji Advertising is going very slowly. One or two bites every month or so. Everytime I log on there are so many new daycares cropping up.

I purchased 2 vinyl lawn signs with vinyl lettering in black and red. Going to post 1 around a main traffic area and the other in front of our local park.

Has anyone used these before? Did you get some calls? I'm just worried some ass is going to swipe them just to be stupid. Each sign cost me aprox $20. So out of my budget to replace these every week. I plan on leaving them out for the day and then picking them up in the evening. Weekends probably.

no i have not done this.

but i guess, put it when you are just around the area, during the day so you can keep an eye on it?

It's a really good idea but there are bylaws for every city that state the size and types of signs you can put on your lawn or even in your window. Just check your city bylaws on line.

I have lawn signs for both my businesses that I got through Vistaprint and for FREE just paid shipping and handling ~ but definitely agree with Momof4 to check your bilaws about where you can place them on your property, size and so forth cause you do not want an attempt at advertizing to end up costing you more money in a fine

As for how 'effective' they ~ to be honest no one has ever said 'hey I saw your lawn sign and thought I would call you' HOWEVER I do get a lot of 'my friend told me about you' and well I do not know the friend or how they know me so perhaps the friend saw my sign or website or any of the other forms of advertizing?
Children construct their own intelligence. The adult must provide activities and context, but most of all must be able to listen. Children need proof that adults believe in them. Their three great desires are to be listened to, to understand, and to demonstrate that they are exactly what we expect."

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
