    Letter for raising fees

I am planning to raise my before and after school fees. Does anyone have a form letter they use or have used for advising parents of the fee increase they'd like to share?

    Thank you!

    Dear parents
Please be advised that as of (date) the rate for before and after school care will be increased to $xxx.

Yes, as per Crayola, keep it short and simple. No excuses and no citing increased daycare costs etc.

Make sure you give them a form to fill out and return acknowledging that they understand as of whatever date their fee will be and have the due back date 2-3 weeks before it starts as in what your period of notice is. That way if a family doesn't return the form you will be able to discuss if they are staying or leaving care over the fee increase and you have that time to advertise to replace.
