Christmas Ornaments

Love the ornament reggio, totally going to the craft store today for clear ornaments and copy that idea!!!! too cute. We have been doing an ornament every day for the last week or so, I have been sending them home with each child to add to the tree. These ones will make a really nice shebang to the already wonderful collection they have at home. Yesterday we did a medium sized pinecone painted green and decorated with 12 dif beads of their choosing to represent Dec. 12, 2012, they glued the 12 beads as ornaments, then I printed a small strip of paper with the date, December 12, 2012 on it, laminated and added to the ribbon to hang from the tree. The parents are excited each day to see what their child has made for them and the kids are just as excited to give them. I love Christmas!!!!!!!

Thanks for the reminder of reindeer food ladies, I forgot last year and could have kicked myself, actually bought little bags already filled and the little poem printed and taped to each bag at a craft show for 25 cents each, too cute, then forgot....will dig those out today for the kids. So fun to do, I remember when my kids brought some home from school years ago, they were so excited to put out for the reindeer. !!!
