Got another call that made me laugh

So on Saturday afternoon I got a phone call:

Lady: I am calling about the daycare.

Me: Yes, I can help you. What would you like to know.

Lady: I was looking at your website and was every impressed. I have a one year old daughter. Would you be able to watch her this Tuesday from 5 to 10pm.

Me: Sorry, are you looking for a babysitter

Lady: Yes

Me: I am not a babysitter I am a child care provider. There is a difference. My hours, which are posted on my website are 7:30 to 5:30.

Lady: Sorry. Would you happen to know of anyone who does babysit?

Me: Sorry, I am looking for a babysitter myself.

Really. You are looking at my site and still think I am going to babysit.
I am happy that she like my site and that my phone has started ringing again, but come on.

PS ... depending on where you are in Ottawa both my daughters babysit. My oldest is will be 18 in May and is willing to drive depending on location and my youngest who will be 15 in May isn't as available or flexible but she does back up care for my oldest if it is needed. Both girls were raised in home daycare and have tons of experience they both can run daycare in my absence.

We are in Barrhaven so you aren't too far away, she has driven 30 minutes to some of her babysitting jobs She is like me though and we don't like to drive downtown Ottawa.

Downtown is for buses not cars. lol
