    gross indeed!

I agree with the handing of a wipe ~ you cannot force her to wash her hands but you can let her know it is not acceptable to touch things in your house having NOT washed them ... I would even be doing things like 'let me get the door for you' so she knows you do not want her touching your door handles with diaper hands!
Children construct their own intelligence. The adult must provide activities and context, but most of all must be able to listen. Children need proof that adults believe in them. Their three great desires are to be listened to, to understand, and to demonstrate that they are exactly what we expect."

I open the door before she gets here and when she leaves I tell her I will get the door so I can lock it. So far she hasn't touched anything of mine, but i am watching. I don't even want to touch her daughter, but i need to hold her so her mom can leave.

I so got a visual of you 'the daycare ninja' with lightening fast reflexes, grabbing doors at the speed of light
    Children are great imitators.
So give them something great to imitate.

That's exactly what I would do - don't touch anything in my house with your nasty hands, woman! Eeeeew! What else has she touched that you don't want to know about? Double Eeeeeeew!

I am in an apartment so I have to buzz everyone in. I go to the door and open it before she or any other client gets there. Then I take a few steps back, so that no one can get past my entrance way. They drop off and pick up their kids at the door, then I say good-bye and close and lock the door. No parent is allowed in the daycare area except during the interview.

And trust me, when I know its her, I do turn into a "daycare ninja", I even jump over gates and kids to make sure I get to the door first.

Now the daughter is doing it.

Mom showed up this morning, good news she DID NOT put her hand down her daughters diaper.

Bad news her daughter is now putting her hand down her own diaper. so gross.
I check the diaper and its been clean each time. It doesn't look like she is scratching and I don't see and thing that could be ichy. I looks like she is just sticking her hand down and leaving it there. So gross. How do I make her stop, before I throw up? I wash her hand after i get it out of her diaper.

Lots of kids do this. Overalls and the onesie on the outside as someone else suggested. When no one else is watching a scarf tied around her waist like a cumberbund works too.

Playfelt had good ideas. I think I'd put her diaper on so tight that it wouldn't be possible for her to get her hand in there. Do you have any dress up clothes? I have a lovely superman suit that would solve the problem because it's all one piece.
