I would politely inform her that it is not going to work and wish her well in her closer solution!

I am not a 'drop in' centre and there would have to be a huge motivation for me to do a 'short term' arrangement like that like I knew 100% that the child would adjust right into the program otherwise you could be earning your money 10fold dealing with a screamer for a month
Children construct their own intelligence. The adult must provide activities and context, but most of all must be able to listen. Children need proof that adults believe in them. Their three great desires are to be listened to, to understand, and to demonstrate that they are exactly what we expect."

Sorry I was trying to type fast and put what I briefly emailed her. I did make it clear I wouldn't do a casual or day only care and that if she did want to send her child for the month I would be happy to help out but do require the deposit still and would like to meet with her to see if her child would be a good fit and we could go from there if that works for her. I'm hoping she gets the point and I don't think she'd be willing to give up a 2 week deposit. If she is I wouldn't mind 2 weeks pay for one day

Payment in cash since there wont be time for the cheque to clear if she decided to go with the other person.

She decided not to come. I knew she wasn't really interested!

A few tips...

If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
