    Always trust your gut

I'm a go with your gut instinct kind of person. I had a good feeling about the family that started with me just two weeks ago, and I am so glad that I listened to my gut. Dcb is awesome! Mom and Dad are awesome! lol, and today dcm told me she thought that I was awesome

Awesome - agreed that our gut is the first line of defence!!
Children construct their own intelligence. The adult must provide activities and context, but most of all must be able to listen. Children need proof that adults believe in them. Their three great desires are to be listened to, to understand, and to demonstrate that they are exactly what we expect."

Yay for you. That sounds like you are appreciated already.

Your subject line is making me worried though. My gut is telling me not to sign my existing PT mom to FT for 2 spaces this fall but I don't have any good or legitimate reason for it other than I don't feel like I should do it. They haven't shown me any reason to worry but something is just bothering me about it. I keep trying to tell myself I am over-thinking it.

Yay! I think I'm on my way to having all great families, too, by summer time. I signed a family starting part time in summer then full time in fall when mom goes back to work. They are amazing, and told me that they think I am too!

A few tips...

Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
